... and that warehouse is filled with unsold salad shooters. thousands of them, all just wasting away, no salads to shoot...
the past few days have been interesting. we celebrated my mom's birthday over a week early on Thursday. we got her Jeeves and Wooster, Season One. I do recommend watching it, it's british and very entertaining. she gushed about her gift for a bit and how great it was. I was just happy I was able to find it. you always think "Wooster and Jeeves" because it's the wealthy detective and his butler, you never think about it in alphabetical order. kinda like Roebuck and Sears... just doesn't sound right.
then got to hear an interesting story from my sister and her fighting with a coworker over the sale of a $1000 ring. basically, the other woman didn't ask who had helped the customer before trying to finish the sale when the customer said she drove back to the mall to pick up that ring that she had already tried on earlier that day. it was the responsibility of the salesperson to find who had started the sale and give it to them. yeah, she didn't do that, my sister goes to pick up the customer, the other woman acts nice about it but leaves a nasty note for the bosses about how my sister stole her sale. the next day was argument after argument leading to no one getting written up and hopefully some abilities on the computer taken away because they are unnecessary for the job. basically, a salesperson has no business being able to look up what each of their coworkers is selling day by day. that can lead to claims of theft of a sale to increase your own commission.
plus, the woman did not realize the difference between the "upset" and "pissed" versions of my sister. very simple: both have downcast eyes, both have hands that shake, both are twitchy around people for an hour, but the upset version has red rings around the eyes which can mean crying at any second. the "pissed" version will just start screaming and hitting to the same stimuli. very simple. just look for the red rings.
yesterday, my family left on vacation. they're gone for over a week and they left me a meager $10 to buy milk. yes, because ten dollars is more than enough to keep a house running for a week, mmhmm. riiiiiight. yeah, not so happy about it. but they should be back next sunday, so I'll be sure to tell them all about it.
